Broken Tribe- Vow to avenge tribal members' years of suffering and deprivation.

How? By repairing and restoring the Tribe with goodness and decency. By discouraging individuals (who knowingly/unknowingly destroyed the Tribe) from anymore stints on the tribal council. Revenge, is a tired term thrown around to discredit other individuals’ sincere concern and ambitions to remedy the piss poor decisions of the past tribal councils. There were five seats open on the tribal council and many tribal members felt it was time to reclaim the Tribe, a determination to make the settlement a better place, and- above all- a fairer place.

We now have a new tribal council....will this council be brave enough too make things right?? Like how Eloise Ironshell is still here on the Set married to a man who should be the one to provide for his family not our tribe providing for his family? Or the fact that we have someone who had a dna done and is still enrolled into the tribe even though this person was not the man's child??? Or the fact that their are many non-tribal members living in house's that should not be!! Will they be the ones too really take these problems on??

This council will be no different from the rest. While there may 1 or 2 that speak out against the norm, it still remains a council with majority rules in votes. While I don't agree with the Ironshell(s) residing on the Sett, the courts/lawyers will fail to act. The court was established to punish ENROLLED members(former Walker council), not the free loaders that stay here (numerous unenrolled taking the tribe's resources).

Sadly the court could have easily removed them at any time had they wanted to. But if the lawyers don't represent the tribe in regular legal matters such as unemployment and litigation with former employees, then why the hell would they make an attempt to do anything in the best interest of the tribe this go round?

If they want to remove people, so be it. Just stand by the decisions and be ready for the negative press that will unfold. Within a month the story will be old news and the tribe will move forward as always. But if they fail to follow through, it will simply show how little the tribal council's backbone is once again.

Hey, not only does the new council need to get a backbone on the Ironshell but others also and too finally get Tara Marvin off the rolls as she should not be enrolled in the first place along with Kedis Oldbear. But they are afraid because of the Oldbear name.
