To disenroll or not to disenroll. The tribe could do without troublemakers, but the settlement is the home to Meskwaki tribal members. I'm leaning towards the latter. I just wish people would behave.
To be enrolled is a right if qualifications are met, but opinions that conflict with the tribal council does not justify disenrollment. Disenrollment is just a political tool used to threaten any opposition. The tribal council does not have the power under the Sac & Fox Constitution to disenroll, but the current administration does not follow the rules and makes them up as they wish.
