Now is the time to start campaigning, if you're going to run for tribal council

Who's brave enough to run for tribal council? I'm eager to see who comes out of the woodwork. The tribe is more than ready for a new tribal council. I must stress that the new tribal council members must completely take over the tribal council once they get on. I don't know where Eddie and Jon stand. Did they actively help carry out the "no good plan" or were they just mere seat fillers. The "no good plan" or one tribal member's vision for the tribe was devised by a former tribal council chairman who is having a hard time getting back on the tribal council. I wonder why...

  1. I would like to see a person come out NOW who can negate all the bad stuff now occurring. All it takes is a little smarts. Goes like this. Build decorum w/others who might be in the running. Form a coalition of sorts. Announce LOUDLY and PUBLICLY that they are now the "heir apparents". Then put out media releases telling the communities (all of them) what it is that they are gonna do. For instance: 1). Terminate all or any staff who behaved "badly" during this whole term of events.
2). Negate all "bad" resolutions passed by the previous council. i.e., bank, per cap, (providing tribal finances allow) and other items like rehiring those unjustly fired.
3). Conduct a full and comprehensive audit that will be open to tribal members when completed.

And so on. By doing this, the "heir apparents" will be serving notice that the current council IS a lame duck. AND that it would not be wise to do business or make contracts with them because it is ALL going to be carefully examined by the new council. You see, the tribe does not have to wait for change. They can, with cooperation accomplish MUCH before the elections. Erase old lines of division and come together to put all this current b.s. aside. Imagine the effect it will have on those either currently (bank) engaged with the current council, or those who are lining up to do business now. It'll make them think, thats for sure. Pity things have come to this, but due to SOMEONE, we gotta do what we gotta do to make things better.
