Article X- Powers of the Tribal Council

(b) To employ counsel for the protection and advancement of the rights of the Tribe and its members, the choice of counsel and fixing of fees to be subject to the approval of the Secretary of the Interior.

Tribal council uses the Tribe's money to pay for their lawyers. Tribal council uses the lawyers AGAINST the tribal members. Tribal council employs these lawyers to get away with what they're doing to the Tribe. No good.

  1. In this case rabbit..you are absolutely right. Mr. Olson most likely is the one behind all the manipulations to negate recent referendums. Especially the one to overturn the council's action to reduce the per capita payments. I suspect that going to that extreme means that there is SOMETHING to hide. I did inquire of both the council and the executive director how the clause they used applied..but NO ANSWER. This in my estimation is the perfect example of what you purport in your statement.
