Good idea rabbit. BUT, i would like to see right now how the "codes" were enacted WITHOUT any approval or say as constitutionally mandated? I guess it was just a "let's do this and no one will say anything". What a lot of people do not realize is that the "codes" go beyond the Tribal Constitution. It is the equivalent to amending the constitution. That simply is illegal. Even if we did vote on it, it would have to be an election called by the Secretary of the Interior. And that hasn't happened. I don't think folks would really want the "codes". And they shouldn't. They are like a big bunch of b.s. that will take away from the simplicity our Tribal Constitution already gives us. Look at the U.S.Gov't. All tied up in huge mess of bureaucracy that is caused by a layering of law upon law. We don't want that. Hey, and imagine, if there are no codes, then no need for an overpaid bunch of judges overseeing an unecessary Tribal Court. Get rid of both.
