I'm not going to apologize for not being able to muster up any respect for some tribal members.

Wanted: a tribal council that is worthy of respect, trust and support.

  1. You have that now - and knowing who you are, you are getting more than you deserve. You are self centered and believe your family is more important than any other in the tribe. You want for yourself what no other family in the tribe is entitled to. You were on the council once and the people voted you off. If you spent as much time working and taking care of your family as you do knocking others and demanding your own way, maybe you wouldn't fine yourself in the mess you do.

    "You have that now"

    Really?

Adrian "Smiles-A-Lot" Pushetonequa. We've got a clown for a chairman. Literally. He's also since relapsed while serving in office. This personal flaw, to me, reflects weakness in character and lacking in strength. Now I know that being on council has to be a tough, demanding job but if you're going to resort to alcohol use when under pressure, allowing it to cloud & impair judgment...Well, I think you see what I'm getting at. This "leader" has also talked down to countless tribal members, elders included. If you believe that is worthy of respect angry, then by all means, you can have him.

Frank "This-all-started-with-the-Takeover" Blackcloud. Need I say more? Okay, I will. This individual has a history of alcohol abuse, has cheated on his wife which resulted in the birth of a child, has beat his wife WHILE ON COUNCIL & feels no need to remove himself from his seat?! What gall. I'm judging Frank solely on his character DEFECTS. If you want examples of his PISS-POOR administrative record, I've got those too. Just say the word. Come on now angry, is this really the type of person you want representing you and the tribe as a whole?

Wayne Pushetonequa. Jumped ship. Claimed to not have enough time to attend council meetings. We all know that really means, "It's pow-wow season, gotta run." He abandoned you, angry.

former member Keith Davenport. His reputation speaks for itself.

And now the underlings. Jon Papakee, Ed Kapayou Jr., Deron Ward. These individuals have had ample time to either prove themselves as competent leaders in their own right or cower unto the DIVINE(yeah, right) rule of larry & the fork-tongued lawyers. Jon talks a good talk, I've yet to see him walk the walk. From my point of view, these 3 members are "just there". Numbers.

I don't think that's too much to ask for. What do you think, angry?
